Below are some of the Frequently Asked Questions we receive. We hope this area will be of service to you. If there is something more that you’re curious about, please let us know!
Custom Apparel:
What is the printing process used on your products? Will you ship orders internationally? What are your international shipping rates?
What is the printing process used on your products?
We use a dye sublimation printing process for mugs and mousepads and digital transfers for all apparel. These processes are similar in quality to screen printing, with no image cracking, peeling or fading.
Will you ship orders internationally?
Yes! We are happy to ship out of the country.
You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from GotMyPT.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
What are your international shipping rates?
For everything listed in our Apparel section:
Canadian order: $4.30 for the first item and $1.65 for each additional item.
All Other International Destinations: $7.00 for the first item and $4.00 for each additional item.
Battery & More Cover:
How is the Battery & More Cover installed? Will there be anything I need to remove, etc.? My GT Turbo is different. I know something has to been tweaked. What exactly does the Fittings Plate do for me? What are your international shipping rates?
How is the Battery & More Cover installed?
The Battery Cover slips down over your battery, tucks up to the PT's frame in the front and secures in place with a Velcro belt that you snug up as tight as you wish. No holes have to be drilled nor modifications made to your PT. We pride ourselves in developing products that do not require you to alter your PT in any way. (GT Turbos are a wee bit different. Please read the following topics too.)
The Fittings Plate locks in place around the stock battery holder's bottom bolt in the front, up against the wheel well on the right, and the fuse box in the back. It has a peg on the bottom that fits into the air intake keeper bushing that used to hold the standard air breather in place.
The whole installation will take you about 3 minutes. Then you can add a custom decal!
What exactly does the Fittings Plate do for me?
The Fittings Plate was created to simply tidy up the newly exposed areas. As a bonus it helps to deflect the hot air that comes up through the engine compartment, and in turn feeds the air intake cooler air than if the Fittings Plate were not installed. This is especially noticeable for the air intakes that don’t have the surrounding box. The Fittings Plate works perfectly on GT Turbos too!
Will there be anything I need to remove, etc.?
On any non-turbo PT there is nothing that has to go, our Battery Cover fits even with the standard air filter and cowling still in place! But most likely you will be removing the cowling along with the air filter when you upgrade your air filter system.
My GT Turbo is different. I know something has to been tweaked.
Due to the way Chrysler had chosen to tie down the battery in GT Turbo models slight modifications must be made to your battery for any battery cover to fit.
1) You will need to buy different tie-downs for the battery. That huge, chunky thing will not allow a battery cover of any kind to fit snugly. You can choose from a variety of replacement battery tie-downs at your local auto parts store for around $5.00.
2) The battery’s positive terminal needs to be moved. On some of the GT’s the positive battery terminal has its connector in the way of a snug fit. You must either bend or pivot the terminal connector out of the way.
Neither of these fixes is a drastic modification to your PT. We’re sorry, but that is the only way any battery cover will fit some GT’s.
What are your international shipping rates?

Why must I register to use the forum. I don’t want to tell the world who I am. Can I edit my profile, can I make items not available for public viewing?
Why must I register to use the forum. I don’t want to tell the world who I am.

Can I edit my profile, can I make items not available for public viewing?
Yes you may! You can choose to make several items in your profile public or private. Once you log in to the forum there is a link at the top of the page that says “my control panel”. From there you have access to viewing and editing your profile. While editing, just check or uncheck the items you want public or private.
In fact, there are many items in your profile that you might want to share with others. Your profile offers you the chance to share your Instant Messaging ID (ICQ, AOL, MSN, etc.), your home page’s URL, a photo of yourself our your car, a short bio about who you are, your hobbies and interests. All this is so others on the forum can get to know you.
Isn’t this what our PT community is all about?
Cruiser Cards:
I want to order/re-order my cards, but I can’t find them on the web site.
I want to order/re-order my cards, but I can’t find them on the web site.
We’re sorry to have to discontinue our popular Cruiser Cards. Prices from our supplier have risen too much lately for us to continue selling the cards to you at a price with which we feel comfortable.
If we find a different supplier, or wholesale prices drop, or we get enough feedback proclaiming you want the cards regardless of their higher price, then we will consider offering them once again.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Name Confusion:
Got My PT. Got PT. What’s the difference? What’s in a name?
Got My PT. Got PT. What’s the difference?
We have been getting phone calls from customers who are a bit upset and confused about charges on their credit cards which they think are coming from us, Got My PT, when they are not.
The confusion comes in with the PT Owner’s Club (PTOC) store.
If you buy something from us, the line on your credit card statement will say: PAYPAL*GOT MY PT (notice the inclusion of the word “My”.)
If you buy something from the PTOC’s club store, the line on your credit card statement will say: GOT PT Vista Ca. “Got PT” is the name of their store.
Items purchased from the PTOC’s club store/Got PT can include not only merchandise, but also PT Cruiser events for which you have registered.
If you have a charge from the PTOC club store/GOT PT, Vista, Ca. and you are unclear as to what it is, here is the telephone number from their store’s contact page: (760) 732-0013 (M-F 8am - 5pm PST).
If you’d like to talk to us about a charge from PAYPAL*GOT MY PT, please feel free to contact us at (619) 994-4397 (M-F 9am - 5pm PST).
What’s in a name?
Our name, “Got My PT”, and its long form “Got My PT. Got Yours?” was created with your bragging rights in mind. “You’re proud of your PT and you want to tell the world. We’ll help!” Is our tag line. We think this eloquently explains it all. Be it dressing up your PT with custom parts, or proudly sporting the phrase on color-coordinated apparel and accessories. Got My PT is what it’s all about!
The PTOC’s “Got PT” is a play on the popular advertising campaign from the Milk Industry “Got Milk?”. Or, that’s what I’m guessing.
